Construction savings bank Modrá Pyramida Stavební Spořitelna (MPSS) extended 1,939 loans totalling CZK 865.57m in Q1 2015, up 61.3% for the value and 54.9% for the number. The most important new product is the Hypoúvěr loan with interest rate starting at 1.99% p.a., which attracts higher demand for the loans. The spokesperson for MPSS, Hana Vaněčková, has stated in a survey for ČIANEWS that the construction savings bank focuses on the financing of housing and expansion of services, in this centre, primarily through eight Modrá Pyramida Hypocentrum mortgage centres in big cities, where the clients only have to bring their income statement and the centres take care of everything.
