MAKRO Cash & Carry ČR will open a new multipurpose educational centre for small and medium entrepreneurs in Prague-Stodůlky in April 2015. The total investment will reach CZK 80m. It is also preparing to open other distribution centres and significant investments will go into reducing the energy demands of buildings and modernisation of shops, especially the section of fresh produce. MAKRO Cash & Carry ČR spokesperson Ivan Tučník said this in a ČIANEWS opinion poll, adding that the company is planning on investing nearly CZK 400m in the development of sales points in the Czech Republic in the fiscal year 2015 (10/2014 to 09/2015).
