ČEZ Distribuce predicts a continuous profitability, a growth in the production of electricity from renewable resources, and a growth in the efficiency of energy devices in its mid-term plan. The company is gradually introducing technologies for smart grids and gets ready for a further transformation of the European power industry. This was stated by ČEZ Distribuce CEO Richard Vidlička in an interview for ČIANEWS. The company copes in its concept with a growth in the number of prosumers (producers consuming electricity at the point of their consumption). The company will thus coordinate its investments on the level of the very high voltage with ČEPS, strengthen its transmission capacities, and invest in the automation of the grid operation management.
