Besides China, India is becoming an important partner for Czech firms in the region BRICS. This stems from an analysis published by the Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Crafts of the Czech Republic (AMSPČR) and Komerční banka (KB). Exports to India grow at a higher pace (8.1%) than the total rate of the Czech exports (7.5%). The Czech Republic shows a share of 42% of the total V4 exports to India. Two thirds of the exports are formed by the automotive and engineering industry. Imports from India increased by 30% in last two years.
