The Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic (MŽP) and the State Environment Fund of the Czech Republic have opened three new calls. The ministry will provide nearly CZK 5bn from EU funds for projects improving the water-management infrastructure in the Czech Republic, limit the lack of drinking water in periods of drought, and improve the level of waste water cleaning. The application reception will begin on October 17, 2016. It will last until January 19, 2017. According to Czech Minister of the Environment Richard Brabec (ANO), some CZK 3.6bn will be allocated for sewerage and sewage disposal plants.
