European Commission has approved the list of 195 projects from the energy infrastructure segment that will help fulfil the energy and climate goals. The accepted projects include the STORK II pipeline, connecting Czech Republic and Poland, scheduled to be completed in 2019. ČIANEWS has previously informed that the investment into this project will total several billions of korunas. The pipeline will be 52 km long. Other approved projects include the pipeline from Litvínov to Spergau, Germany, aimed to raise the safety of crude oil supplies in Central and Eastern Europe thanks to alternative routes.
