Czech technicians from Sviadnov-based Huisman CZ will design and produce the controlling parts of turbines for a tidal power plant in the Netherlands. The 1 MW power plant will be installed on anti-flood barrier pillars in Oosterschelde, Zeeland province, and will supply electricity to approximately 700 households. The assembled tidal power plant will be tested until the end of 2015. Spokesperson David Waliczek has stated that the hydraulic system will control five turbines with the total output of 1 MW. The structure will weigh totally 520 tons.
