For the second year in a row, breweries in the Czech Republic have produced a record amount of beer, according to data gathered by the Czech Association of Breweries and Malthouses. Overall, Czech beer production increased by 1.6% in 2019, to a total of 21.6 million hectoliters. It’s a new high for the Czech Republic since the inception of the country in 1993. Czech beer consumption also reached new heights according the association.
