AGC Automotive Czech raised the car glass production by 2.3% y/y to 31 million pcs in 2015. Over the last five years, the plant’s production increased by 50%. Hardened glass production is growing most significantly. General director Luděk Steklý has stated that the increase in production is related primarily to the new furnace, which produced 5 million glasses in 2015. Mr. Steklý has added that the investment reached ca. CZK 150m. The company has 2,700 employees now.
