The OECD has listed several areas that could present a challenge for the Czech economy in the future, even though the current economic indicators are very good. These areas are: low labor productivity limiting the increase in living standards, lack of skills and innovations and slow developments in R&D, an aging society, and an inefficient health care system. The conclusions of the OECD’s 2018 Economic Survey and the Environmental Performance Review of the Czech Republic were presented by the organization’s Secretary-General, Angel Gurría.
