Bringing foreign investors into the Czech Republic, where they will create job positions and benefit the economy’s competitiveness, is an important part of economic diplomacy, Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka (ČSSD) said at the meeting of heads of Czech Republic’s foreign embassies on August 22, 2016. PM Sobotka has added that Czech firms secured investments totalling CZK 130bn with support for the government in 2014-2015, resulting into more than 30,000 new job positions.
