The average price of compulsory third party liability insurance coverage in the Czech Republic grew to CZK 2,275 in 2015 from CZK 2,745 in 2014. Back in 2004, compulsory third party liability insurance cost CZK 3,884 on the average. This stems from the statistics of the Czech Insurers’ Association (ČAP) and the Czech Insurers’ Office (ČKP). According to the organisations, the price of compulsory third party liability coverage is growing primarily for risky groups of motorists, incl. e.g. young drivers. Total premium billing in the segment grew by CZK 380m in 2015 to CZK 20.46bn.
