In the third quarter of 2015, Unipetrol reported EBITDA LIFO of CZK 3.002bn. Net profit amounted to CZK 1.582bn. Net profit adjusted for one-time items totalled CZK 2.11bn. Revenues slid 13% compared to Q3 2014 to CZK 29.45bn. Commenting on the results, Unipetrol CEO and board chairman Marek Świtajewski said the company had managed to mitigate the impact of the Záluží emergency situation on the results thanks to cooperation with Unipetrol’s majority shareholder, PKN Orlen. As a result of the ethylene unit accident, the company made one-off depreciation of the estimated damage to property in the amount of CZK 597m for Q3 2015.
