Mining group New World Resources (NWR) predicts that its coal production in 2015 will reach 7.5-8 million tons in 2015, as compared to 8.6 million tons in 2014. The average price of energy coal mined by NWR group in 2015 will drop 4% y/y to EUR 52 per ton. On the other hand, the average agreed sales price of 74% of the predicted production of cokeable coal will grow by 9% y/y to EUR 93 per ton. NWR’s revenues in the full year of 2014 dropped 20% to EUR 676m. EBITDA reached EUR 11m and net loss totalled EUR 21m.
