The agency CzechInvest has concluded a total of 147 projects in the total amount of nearly CZK 87bn with foreign and Czech investors in 2014. A total of 16,000 new jobs will likely be created thanks to the investments. Most of them will likely be created in Moravia-Silesia and Ústí Regions. According to Czech Minister of Industry and Trade Jan Mládek (ČSSD), an increased activity of foreign investors is related with the gradual recovery of the European market led mainly by the automotive industry. According to his words, Czech firms show expansions in the field of the engineering, textile and food industry.
