Insurer Česká Podnikatelská Pojišťovna, Vienna Insurance Group (ČPP), raised the no. of compulsory third party liability contracts by almost 27,000 in H1 2016 and registered 1 149 882 insured vehicles. Premium billing in the compulsory third party liability segment grew by 1% y/y to EUR 1.44bn. The spokesperson for ČPP, Renata Čapková, has told ČIANEWS that the insurer most recently changed the rates for newly signed contracts at the beginning of 2016 and is considering individual increases now.
