In 2014, the Czech branch of mBank reported profits of CZK 240m. The volume of loans advanced increased 29% on the year while the size of deposits added 21%. The bank had 534,000 customers at the end of the reported period. mBank CEO Pawel Kucharski said the bank had been successful on the Czech market primarily thanks to high-margin products. For example, consumer credits added 50% on the year, which is the most dynamic growth over the past three years.
