The Czech Republic has taken the 24th place in the worldwide economic freedom chart of the Heritage Foundation with a score of 72.5 point. This represents a year-on-year improvement by 0.3 point. This result is due to strengthening in the realm of copyright protection or fighting corruption. There has been a worsening, on the other hand, in the management of public expenditure or freedom of enterprise. Within Europe, the Czech Republic has ended up in the 13th place out of 43 countries evaluated.
