Companies ZAT and Doosan Škoda Power will as the main project suppliers from the Czech Republic repair a power plant in Cuba. ZAT spokeswoman Denisa Ranochová confirmed for ČIANEWS that the contract includes the repair of the first block of the power plant following an accident. She added that the extent of the damages is being assessed by the representatives of the two companies on location. Export Guarantee and Insurance Company (EGAP) spokeswoman Hana Hikelová said that the Cuban side has asked EGAP to insure the project worth roughly EUR 25m. Given its positive experience with the payment of all loans, EGAP is ready to discuss this opportunity.
