The European Commission will individually assess 13% of producers of renewable energy sources (RES). This statement was made by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Lenka Kovačovská on Czech Television’s debate programme, Otázky Václava Moravce (OVM). She added the measure would concern those producers who would be entitled to support worth more than EUR 200,000 over the period of three years. Other producers need not be assessed on an individual basis. Legislation will have to be amended for this individual assessment, according to Lenka Kovačovská. This process could be finished by April.
