Czech banks show an above-standard electronic payment security. This was stated by the Czech Banking Association (ČBA) based on results of an international study published by Grant Thornton Advisory. According to the survey, the Czech Republic is a country with the highest rate of implemented security rules. Besides an efficient identification and authentication, Czech banks use also secured communication channels, monitoring, and risk assessment. Some 85% of countries use a central register of legal entities as a key tool for the identification of persons.
