At its extraordinary meeting on December 2, 2015, the Council of the City of Prague approved a balanced budget for 2016. The total volume of sources counts on CZK 60.39bn. A total of 17.64bn will be allocated to transport, CZK 10.58bn to education, youth and sports. CZK 1.66bn will go to social and health services and CZK 1.53bn to culture and tourism. Prague will distribute CZK 4.77bn among city districts, i.e. by CZK 541m more than in 2015. Voting on the budget will take place at a regular Council meeting scheduled for December 17, 2015.
