Czech unemployment fell to 7.9% in October from September’s 8.0%, the Ministry for Labor and Social Affairs announced on Tuesday. The latest figures represent a surprise with many analysts having expected the figure to be unchanged. The total number of Czechs registered with labor offices fell by 4,497 to 470,618 compared with the September total.
