Addressing the lower house’s budget committee on Wednesday, Finance Minister Miroslav Kalousek (TOP 09) said that despite falling budget revenues, he expects a budget deficit under 4% of GDP this year and progressively lower deficits in the coming years. Kalousek asked the National Economic Council of the Government (NERV) to produce three scenarios of economic development: conservative, crisis and catastrophic scenarios.
