The Czech parliament has voted to approve a bill drafted by the country’s Ministry of Finance to lower the value-added tax (VAT) on draft beer from 21% to 10%, and cut the tax rates on meals and non-alcoholic beverages consumed at restaurants and other catering outlets from 15% to 10%.
