The Czech central bank’s next macroeconomic projection could forecast the GDP to shrink deeper than the latest outlook, ČNB governor Zdeněk Tůma said on Sunday. The bank’s latest forecast unveiled on Thursday assumes GDP contracting by 0.3 percent in 2009 and edging up by just below 1.0% in 2010. Previous estimates were for 2.9 and 3.1% growth.
