Leading politicians wrangled over a new finance minister Monday as the budget gap jumped to CZK 55.7 billion, from CZK 28.1 billion a year ago. Outgoing PM Mirek Topolánek nominated Miroslav Kalousek to keep his post. But the ČSSD called the plan “unacceptable”.
