Hospital Ostrov is renovating pavilion B for a psychiatric and rehabilitation center. The reconstruction will significantly improve the quality of care provided by the psychiatric ward, which is the only one in the Karlovy Vary Region.
In the rehabilitation section, the ambulatory care section will be expanded and a pool and water therapy will be added. Construction should be completed in October 2015. This was stated as part of the ČIANEWS survey by spokeswoman Markéta Singerová, according to whom overall project expenditures total CZK 128m. They will be paid from the ROP and from own funds.
