Prague, June 11th, 2012: The organizer of the first ever LawTech Europe Congress, E-Discovery Europe s.r.o. (“E-Discovery Europe”), has officially announced today the names of the advisory board members of the first congress of its kind in Central Europe in terms of its scale, scope, inclusiveness and effectiveness. The LawTech Europe Congress 2012 will take place on 12th November, 2012, in the Clarion Congress Hotel Prague, and is expected to attract between 700 and 1,000 delegates from all over the world.
The advisory board of the congress includes some of the most respected experts on electronic evidence and related areas from the Czech Republic and abroad. The full board consists of Dr. Radim Polčák, Professor at the Institute of Law and Technology of the Masaryk University, Dr. Josef Donát, LLM, Partner at Rowan Legal, Chris Dale, Manager of the E-Disclosure Information Project, George Rudoy, Founder & CEO at Integrated Legal Technology, LLC, Charles Christian, Publisher of the Legal Technology Insider, Monique Altheim, multilingual and multi-jurisdictional attorney, Sasha Hefler, who will be the Chief Strategy Officer for the conference, and Frederick Gyebi-Ababio, the Managing Director of E-Discovery Europe.
The advisory board is an essential part of the LawTech Europe Congress, serving as a professional advisory platform that is able to provide the organizers with valuable experience in the organization of similar conferences abroad, and expertise from all over the world.
The organizer, E-Discovery Europe, has also recently confirmed two new strategic partners for the LawTech Europe Congress 2012. Cellebrite is a provider of services in mobile forensics and data transfer solutions, and will be holding a demonstration of technologies for mobile forensics. Whilst Rowan Legal, a leading law firm in the provision of comprehensive legal support in business transactions, has confirmed that one of its partners, Dr Josef Donát, will be discussing the topic of ICT law and intellectual property rights in the Czech Republic at the Congress.
Giving an update on the Congress, Frederick Gyebi-Adabio, Managing Director of E-Discovery Europe, said:

The topics of the congress will include the use of electronic evidence in civil and criminal procedures as well as its relation to governance and corruption. Plenary sessions, panel discussions and workshops will also be a part of the programme in order to open discussion about cross-border data transfers and privacy, emerging technologies, electronic evidence focusing on the CEE, as well as many other related topics.
The Congress is expected to attract Czech and international law and technology firms, regulatory bodies, technology experts and law schools who will, for the first time ever, have the opportunity to discuss legal technology topics within the region and framework of Central Europe.
