Prague, May, 2013 (Press Release) – At a press briefing held on site, the father-son team of Arnaud and Adrien Bricout, announced today that their new French wine and delicatessen, La Cave D’Adrien, is now open for business. In the very heart of Vinohrady, (Americka 18), La Cave D’Adrien is targeted at both the hotel/restaurant trade and local, private customers, and brings to the Czech Republic good French wines at very affordable prices.
La Cave D’Adrien’s ‘E-shop’ has been up and running for a few weeks now, and it is already proving to be very popular with the shop’s target market. The official opening of La Cave d’Adrien is, however, the first time that buyers have been able to see the shop and its produce first hand, and, judging from the guest list for the opening party, there is already a great deal of interest.
La Cave’s namesake, Adrien, commented on the new shop: “Our goal is to change the image of French wines and other products on the Czech market. Up until now we think that the wines, in particular, are very expensive and not always that good, even when the price is high. We want to change the image of French wines and delicatessen and show our ability to bring to the market French products of a good quality but at a fair price.”
La Cave is more than just a wine store; the shop has been interior designed to the highest of standards, using the best quality materials and high specification technology to keep the wines and champagnes at their optimum temperature, and the whole ambience is aimed at bringing a little bit of France to a corner of Prague.
Customers are able to choose from a huge range of white, red and rose wines that are being offered at prices that are rarely higher than Kc 250 per bottle, but for that special occasion there is a range of top quality champagnes that are also very reasonably priced, with a good bottle costing as little as Kc 620.
