Virtual mobile phone operator OpenCall Mobile consistently raises the bar when it comes to providing affordable international calling rates. With a prepaid OpenCall SIM card, calls to most European Union countries cost from just 2.50 CZK per minute and calls to Slovakia cost only 1.80 CZK a minute.
Now OpenCall is introducing cost-effective roaming rates too. While the majority of Czech mobile operators often adhere to roaming price cap regulations set by the European Commission, virtual mobile operators like OpenCall are able to boldly offer significantly lower prices. OpenCall can provide mobile roaming charges that are as much as 45% lower than rates set by the European Union.
From 1 July 2014, OpenCall users will pay just 3.50 CZK per minute to make calls to most European Union Zone 1 countries, and just 1.65 CZK per minute to receive incoming calls. Sending an SMS costs only 1 CZK – even lower than the cost to send text messages from within the Czech Republic. Users sending an MMS will pay just 6.60 CZK per message. OpenCall also offers significantly cheaper data connection charges set at just 3.50 CZK per MB.
