Octoberfest, St. Patricks day and Halloween. People know all of them. But what do you know about the Dutch Kingsday (formerly Queensday)? Its the day were the whole Dutch nation celebrates the birthday of the King, dresses up in orange, parties outside on the streets, dances, sings and has a great time. Its not only being celebrated in the Netherlands itself but all over the world. This year you can experience it yourself, right here in Prague on Friday 25.4 and we are sure you will love it.
Prague Unlimited and Holland in Prague have the pleasure in inviting you for Friday the 25th of April when Prague will celebrate the first Dutch Kingsday in history. Partylocation will be Obcanska Polvarna. During the „Kingsday Party – Long party the King!“ Czechs, Dutch and other expats will enjoy a full program of entertainment until the early hours. Musical program will be taken care of by the well known band Replay and Dutch party DJ and singer WILLEM. Visitors can also look forward to a welcome drink, orange decorations and give away, a price raffle, price for best dressed person and typical Dutch snacks and finger food.
Obcanske Plovarna is a truly Royal 3 floor party location located at the beautiful riverbanks of the Vltava and being very suitable for an event like this. The Music style will vary from English and Dutch as well as records from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s. Funk, Disco, Soul, Motown and Club. In other words there will be something for everyone, young and old.
Guest are highly encouraged to wear something in red-white-blue (colors of the Dutch flag) or orange (color of the Royal family), especially cause a bigprice will be given to the best dressed person.
The King will welcome its guests from 20.00 o’clock and will go to sleep at 05.00.
