Hugo Marom, ‘Winston’s child’ and Israeli pilot died at the age of 89

Hugo Marom, a Holocaust survivor and one of the founders of the Israel Air Force (IAF), died on Sunday morning in Tel Aviv at the age of 89. Brno native Marom was among the children who got onto Sir Nicholas Winton’s last ‘Kindertransport’ in 1939.
