Once again, fashionistas of Prague need to prepare for the next mass fashion event: Prague Fashion Market. Warm weather has finally come to the city, which means it’s time to update your wardrobe. And what kind of update would it be without a good shopping trip? The 11th annual Fashion Market is the perfect opportunity to relieve you of those cold-weather blues, and for you to buy something bright and warm this season. More than 150 fashion designers and jewelers will present the best of their work, surprising customers not only with the beauty, but also with the creativity, of their goods.
The fashion event will be held at Holešovice in halls 13 and 40. Inside, you will meet the coolest Czech and Slovak designers with the most creative and stylish products. My personal favorites include Attaque, a talented designer with bold and flashy clothes; AKARI, with their bright and fluffy skirts for hilarious fashionistas; ANAIRAM, with creative prints on T-shirts; U ŠTĚSTÍ DAM, with their elegant bow-ties for men and women; COLIBRI SHOP, with colorful and stylish scarves; MAGAELA, with a variety of floral accessories; and SKYNET, with bold products that are particularly popular among young people.
In addition to an abundance of shopping opportunities, inside there will be more than 10 chefs offering their best dishes. This time, the Market is inspired not only by fashion, but also by delicious quality food, from the nourishing sandwiches from FOOD ON THE MOVE and DIRTY DOG STREET FOOD, to sweet and dulcet confections from DORTÍKOVO and NEBESKÉ DORTÍČKY. There will also be vegan chefs.
But the surprises do not end there. In addition to the high-quality clothes and delicious food, you will see a variety of entertainment programs. There will be various workshops on hula-hooping, wool weaving and body art. There will also be a children’s theater for the youngest customers, a special department for pets, and runaway shows. On Friday, everyone who comes to the Market will want to stay for the massive after-party, “SOME LIKE IT HOT”. DJ’s from Berlin and Prague will play swing music, and there will be some funny swing-dance classes for all.
So come to Holešovické tržnici on Friday and Saturday from 12.00-20.00, halls number 13 and 40. You won’t want to miss it!
