The EU has invited Belarussian President Alexander Lukashenko to a Prague summit on partnership with ex-Soviet states next month, the Czech foreign minister said Friday, despite criticism of the authoritarian regime. “It’s up to the president… in which way Belarus will be represented at the conference,” Karel Schwarzenberg, whose country holds the rotating EU presidency, told reporters.
