The parliamentary elections that took place in Slovakia this weekend seemed to copy the Czech scenario almost identically. The only significant difference between the Czech and the Slovak set-ups is that, in the Czech Republic hopes for liberal reforms are being tied to a man while in Slovakia they might be tied to a woman.
