Tuesday’s Supreme Court decision, which confirmed immunity for three former Civic Democratic MPs securing their freedom from prosecution for deals made while in parliament, has raised serious doubts over the ability of local prosecutors to effectively fight corruption, says analyst Jiří Pehe.
