Pruhonice, Central Bohemia, Feb 18 (CTK) – President Milos Zeman and Prime Minister Andrej Babis (ANO) in resignation discussed the forthcoming meetings to deal with the creation of a new government at their dinner on Sunday.

Zeman entrusted Babis with the second try at forming a government.

“Zeman has informed me that Communist leader Vojtech Filip and Freedom and Direct Democracy leader Tomio Okamura will visit him next week,” Babis said.

Filip and Okamura have made it clear that under certain circumstances they might directly or indirectly support Babis’s new government.

ANO is conducting talks on the programme with the two parties.

On Tuesday, its negotiating team is scheduled to inform Babis about the results.

Babis told Zeman that on Wednesday he would meet Civic Democratic Party (ODS) leader Petr Fiala and discuss European affairs.

On Thursday, Babis will meet representatives of the Mayors and Independents (STAN) who have changed their mind and expressed the willingness to support the government if certain conditions were fulfilled.

STAN does not want Communists or SPD getting a share of power.

Babis also said he wanted to meet newly elected Social Democrat leader Jan Hamacek.
