An entertaining weekend at Kriket Vinoř began with Bohemian CC winning a tight 40-over league match against Barbarians with only 3 balls remaining.
Barbarians batted first and scored 151, but a patient stand between Scott and Imran took Bohemains towards the finishing line, and Craig hit five from Nick’s final over to secure the win.
Vinohrady were unable to play their game in Dresden as our friends in Germany recover after the recent floods, which affected their ground. As a result the 40-over league stage has now finished, with the final now set as PCC vs Dresden on Saturday 29th June. This is a repeat of last year’s thrilling final, which PCC won off the final ball.
Sunday’s action saw PCC’s two teams take each other on in the T20 league – the first team was predictably too strong, but it was a very entertaining day played in a great spirit.
