Swedish EU presidency backs Canadian visa response

The Swedish presidency of the European Union on Wednesday threw its weight behind fellow-member the Czech Republic in a row over Canada’s new visa requirements, saying that it backed the idea of making Canadians apply for a visa to enter the EU.
