The Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (ÚOOÚ) has turned down an application by Google to collect personal data. The ÚOOÚ ruling is a setback for the US company’s efforts to complete its Street View photo imaging service for the Google Maps program, launched in the Czech Republic and other European countries last year.
