Prague, Nov 16 (CTK) – One of the persons connected with the Paris attacks drove across the Czech Republic twice in the past, namely five and seven years ago, Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka said after his talks with security corps on Monday and added that the information has been passed to the French.
He said the security measures the Czech Republic took after the Friday attacks remain at the same degree.
On agreement with Slovakia, the monitoring of the Czech-Slovak border will be extended, however, Sobotka said.
The Czech police and secret services tightened security measures after the Paris attacks that claimed 129 lives.
The measures have been applied to some buildings, including Prague Castle, the presidential seat, and the French embassy, airports and shopping centres.
