Prague, July 12 (CTK) – The Czech customs authority seized 1,295 fake skateboards worth 1.77 million crowns within an extensive raid made simultaneously at several places on Friday, the authority’s spokeswoman Hana Prudicova told CTK on Tuesday.
The operation dubbed Skate took place in Prague and south and north Moravia at the request of the owner of the Fishskateboards brand copyright.
“The Czech Customs Authority actively promotes the observance of intellectual ownership rights not only by its checks of the internal market but mainly within the customs proceedings concerning the imports of goods from third countries,” Prudicova said.
