While Segways have been banned in the city center, they have been replaced by motorized bicycles. Prague 1 is contemplating a ban on all bicycles in pedestrian zones from 10 am to 6 pm as a result. The new move has critics though, such as the civic group Auto*Mat, which promotes cycling as an urban transit solution.
