Zlin, Central Moravia, Feb 6 (CTK) – The three people who were found dead in a family house in Zlin-Podhori on Monday are a mother, 60, her daughter, 34, and son, 37, and their deaths are investigated as murders, the regional police spokeswoman, Lenka Javorkova, told CTK on Tuesday.
She said it turned out that the woman and her adult children died several weeks or even months ago. An autopsy will show what the cause of their deaths was, she added.
On Monday, the police received a call from the father of the adult children who did not live in the house and who said he found the dead bodies.
Neighbours said they knew only little about the now dead family as they seldom left their house. Some even said they thought the house was empty.
Javorkova said detectives would try to solve the case of the tragic deaths as soon as possible.
On Monday, detectives searched the house and its surroundings, and a team of forensic doctors and the supervising state attorney also arrived at the scene.
