The Institute for the Study of Totalitarian Regimes (ÚSTR) has given awards to four figures from abroad and from the Czech Republic who have contributed to historical knowledge or who have stood up to undemocratic regimes. One recipient was Čeněk Růžička, chair of the Committee for the Redress of the Romani Holocaust.
