Brno, June 30 (CTK) – The Brno Regional Court sent on Thursday three men to prison for a robbery of 77 million crowns near Slavkov, south Moravia, ten years ago, while the main culprit, who was also found guilty of a murder, was given 20 years behind bars.

The mastermind, Roman Dohlidal, murdered their possible accomplice, commander of the armoured vehicle transporting the money, according to the indictment.

Dohlidal’s brother Antonin was sentenced to ten years in prison and Jaroslav Havlik was given 11 years.

Jiri Barton, who helped remove the body of the vehicle commander later, was given a suspended 2.5-year sentence with a four-year probation.

The three masked men were armed with pistols as well as a bazooka replica during the robbery. The stolen money has never been found.

The vehicle commander died under unclear circumstances four years after the robbery. His body was found at a waste dump recently.
