A 42-year-old Czech national has been sentenced to 17 years in prison for trying to smuggle 20 kilograms of methamphetamine through Auckland Airport. Customs officials said the meth had a street value of up to USD 20 million, and was the largest ever seizure at a New Zealand airport.
