The Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on its website stating that the Czech Republic is calling for the release of Nadiya Savchenko, a deputy in the Ukrainian Parliament. Savchenko was captured and abducted to Russia in June 2014. Currently she is on hunger strike, the Foreign Ministry statement says.
