Hermanova Hut, West Bohemia, July 11 (CTK) – Czech police detained a van with 31 Iraqi refugees on the D5 motorway near Hermanova Hut in west Bohemia Monday morning, together with the Romanian driver who is suspected of people smuggling, Foreigner Police spokeswoman Katerina Rendlova told CTK.
The immigrants consist of “four Iraqi families. None of them has either a Czech entry or stay permit. After being detained, all of them were taken to police stations for the necessary proceedings,” Rendlova said.
